Exploring connections between Science and Art

Science & Art

Defining the terms science and art is no easy task.  Each word carries the weight of centuries of social context and meaning.  I am broadly defining science as mankind's methods of understanding the world objectively, and art as the methods of understanding the world subjectively.  As they say, "art is how we perceive an object, science is the object itself." In this blog, I am exploring the ways that these two methods can intersect, specifically in moments that unveil truths about ourselves and the external world at the same time.  Or said differently, I am exploring ways that objective truths can have meaning and relevance in our actual lives.
